The platforra which was very short, indorses RooseveH and' Fairbanks and expresses confidence in a memorahle victory for the state ticket and "aur fearte leader and typical Republican, Theodore Roosevelt." The amendment to the resolutions prepared by Csngresman William Aid en Smith and Senator Simons.' pledging the party to the nomination of governor by direct vote, was defeated by a vote of 774 to 10.
