Show . SABSZSS RAISE SATES. A standard schedule of prices for all shops In the city has been adopted by the Barbers' union. The 15-cent shave has been In vogue as the union price for some time, but for halr-cuttlng, shampooing and other work the union has not heretofore Insisted upon the higher prices being maintained. From now on no shop can be In good standing stand-ing unless it maintains the standard schedule throughout, and the union j hopes to be enabled to enforce It in all shops. This schedule which goes Into effect Saturday. October 1. Is as follows: For hair-cutting, shampooing, singeing, massaging and rasor-honing, S5 cents each; whisker trimming, 25 cents; shave, IS cents. |
