Superintendent Ed Freudenthal of the Majestic has returned to Beaver county. C. V. Gilmer. J. C. Gladden. Mike Kennedy and Johnny Chapman have gone to Goldfleld. HEW STRIKE REPORTED OLD MILLAR GROUP. A new strike, is reported on the old Millar group of claims on Millar hill in American Fork canyon. The property is being operated under lease by the Messrs. Tyng of New" York, and last fall a magnificent body of lead-silver ore was uncovered, which has been steadily coming to market ever since. The lessees explored this body carefully at the tunnel level, but being convinced that It went down, they decided to start ' another tunnel further down the hill, which would tap the ledge at much gTeater depth. Within a short time after af-ter this tunnel was started a new b5dy of ore was struck. This is said to rival the first body in richness aDd its size has not yet been determined. Both the ore bodies are on the Wyoming claim. Recent arrivals from American Fork - who have examined the property say that while the first ore body may not have 11.000,000 worth of ore exposed at the present time, there Is without doubt $250,000 worth, which is no small amount, conslderlng'that the ore body has not been entirely explored. About 600 tons of ore has been shipped since October, when the strike was made, and the latest reports state that the road closed by snow has been reopened and that ore Is now coming to market and will continue to come the rest of the winter, if it is possible to keep the road open.
