Show ALLEGED BOND THIEF IS STILL IN JAIL ST. PAUL. July 15. William I. SUne, who was chief clerk to General Manager Mana-ger Walter A. Scott, of the Omaha railroad, rail-road, until the latter part of June, and who has been arrested on a ' charge of having stolen '$8,009 worth of Southern South-ern Pacific railroad bonds from the office of-fice of the late General Manager, shortly short-ly after Mr." Scott's death, has been held to the District court In the sum of $5,00. H is still In jail. New evidence, which It Is alleged fastens the theft of the bonds on SUne, has been unearthed by the police.- James J. Murphy, a tailor of this city, employed by SUne, says he sold the eight bonds as an agent for SUne.' ' .': |
