Show Draws tho Liae on Moonlight Strolls. Horror of horrors! Here's a Chicago university professor who is inveighing against moonlight strolls of lovers, i "Go alone," he says to the co-eds who flock to that temple of learning, ''unless you have some congenial, safe female companion to accompany ac-company you." This hard-hearted, cymbal-headed collegiate has no more romance in his make-up than a shriveled pumpkin. A moonlight walk all by girly's own self it's enough to give one the shivers! And with another an-other girl what's the use of having a moon, anyhow? any-how? What's a moon for if not for lovers? . - "Remember, young ladies," said tnis professor, "remember that it is only cooks and' housemaids who go walking with their gentlemen friends in the evening." Surely this aged cynic was never young, or if so, has forgotten the dreamy delights of youth. At -any rate, he is a snob of the purest raj serene, and is deserving of a tin can serenade--by moonlight. " |
