Show PRELIMINARY ROUNDS ARE COMPLETED The preliminary rounds of the handicap handi-cap golf tournament which was begun on Labor day were completed on Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. , ' ' Wicks, with a handicap of four strokes, defeated McGurrln six up and four to play. McQurrln was hardly up to his usual form. Hale was on his game and had little difficulty tn beating Hutchens three up and two . to play. Channing lost to Stelner by default and 6fficer defeated Plummer five up and four to play. Pearsall won from Dr. Fisher two np and Copp had little difficulty dif-ficulty In putting E. F. Ferry out of the match four up and three to play. Packard and Igleheart have only completed com-pleted one round of their match and Packard finished that round two up. The players will pair off as follows for their next preliminary: Hale, handicap 2, vs. Stelner, handicap S. Mont Ferry, handicap 8, vs. Igleheart or, Packard. ? Wicks, handicap 4, vs. Officer, handicap handi-cap 8. Pearsall, handicap 9. vs Copp, scratch. |
