Show BOWLERS IN AJJAGUE Six Five-Men Teams Will Make Up the Organization Organi-zation for Tbis Winter. Ths bowlers of Salt Lake have at last got together and have organlxeda league for the coming winter. The league will consist of six five-men teams and all the best bowlers In the city axe connected with the movement. It has been decided to have each team meet every other team, six times during the season and there will be probably three game a week scheduled. sched-uled. The winners will carry off the title of city champions for the season of 1904-06. It is probable that the league will affiliate with the National Bowling congress which will Insure all scores being accepted all over the country. All games will be played strictly according to the national rules and Capt. I. M. Barratt has been chosen official referee. W. T. Walker, formerly of. Denver, but now a resident of this city and. a well-known well-known bowler, ha been chosen president of the league, and Steve Walton ha been made secretary and treasurer. An executive execu-tive committee composed of Adler, Walton, Wal-ton, Williams, Enos, A.-W; Smith and O. Smith has also been appointed. President Walker has appointed A. W. Smith. Walton Wal-ton and Hamilton as a schedule committee commit-tee and they will have a schedule arranged ar-ranged in time to begin play on next Monday Mon-day night The season promises to be one of the best ever seen In this city and it is probable that better bowling will be seen I here than ever. |
