The ledge was crosscut for a distance dis-tance of forty feet without finding a hanging wall and the vein has been drifted upon In both directions from the point of intersection, with the tunnel for over 100 feet . As yet there has been no first-class ore disclosed in the ledge, but the entire ledge as opened by the drifts is heavily mineralized and spotted with ore.
