Show GIItL CHAUFFEUR IS BROUGHT TO COURT i PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 30. Because she raced her automobile along the Old Tork road, Miss Nettie A. Shoeh,' the pretty daughter of City Treasurer Henry Hen-ry B. Shoch, has been summoned to sp-pear sp-pear in the police court of Magistrate . Goentner, at 'Willow Grove, and pay a fine. Mis Ehoch was, not stopped while scorching. An Abington township auto policeman timed her ear at something over twenty miles aa hour, but when he saw a fair chauffeur at the wheel he hadnt the nerve to stop the ear. But he reported the occurrence to Chief Lever, who mailed a summons to Miss Shoch 's home at No. 1503 North Fifteenth Fif-teenth street. Miss Ehoch has a license in her own name, and before this has driven too fast to suit the authorities. She says she likes to go fast, and doesn't realise real-ise that she is exceeding the legal limit. Her father, the City Treasurer, has had trouble with the authorities about his ' automobile driving, especially in Fair-mount Fair-mount park. ' |
