Jaly and Mr. and Mrs. Truman Roy Brown at- the Daly home in East1 Brigham atreet " lt . night. . Tha event ..was .in . honor of 'iTissea Eudora and Evelyn Daly, who' will anon .leave for the East and an extended European Eu-ropean tour in - company with their parenta. Tha lawn wee inclosed wkh canvas and brilliantly bril-liantly lighted with hundreds of electric halba red, white, and blue. Rustic chairs and seats were also placed in a ' carelessly de-ll(htful de-ll(htful manner about the lawn. A dancing Doer was laid en the north, lawn, which waa inclosed and malle gay with many lights. . Around tha entire inclosure Waa a mass of golden glow, alternating with pottedpalme, forming a most charming effect. The reviving re-viving party stood in the drawing-room to reeatve tneir guests, ana from this point tiiey passed around the broad verandas arranged with divana and rugs to the dancing floor. Mrs. Daly wore an imnorted gown of pala blue ailk crepe with trimmings of resl lace. . Mre. Brown wore a handsome costume of blue ailk mull, Valenciennes laca and black velvet. The young debutantee were charming charm-ing in gawna of whit embroidered mull, with bouquets of pink roses and maidenhair iern. . .. Tha purpose of the party waa to raise funds to add to those now on hand to be used for the purchase of a magnificent rose window for the front of the cathedral. Tha window will coat $1800. Of thia amount about $1000 ha been raised by the ladies of th Altar elnb at cake aales, card partiea and other entertainments.
