Kerens, first vice-president of the Salt Lake Route, whose arrival in Salt Lake with his .'wife and daughter. Miss Barney, and a party of distinguished friends, waa fully noted in these columns yesterday, announces that It Is not only possible, but highly probable that he will enlarge bU realty holdings in Salt Lake. "It was our original Intention to erect the San Pedro building, a structure to be twelve stories high. This Intention has not been overlooked, merely . sidetracked side-tracked for the present because of lack of time to devote to the enterprise. : Our Immediate concern Is to put the road in excellent physlcial condition, all other things being subsidiary to that. "Senator Kearna and David Keith will have the selection of a site for this building build-ing left to them; we will be governed largely by their "Judgment The original plan was that the enterprise should be shouldered by- four Interests, Senator Clark and myself on the one part, and Senator Kearns and Mr. Keith on the other. This plan will be carried out, I think. "I like the progress being made In Salt Lake. The city presents a very animated appearance." |
