Jones Watson of ' Denver, charged with killing his wife, to-- to-- day return ePa -erdict of not guilty. Mrs. Watson was killed In a runaway accident while riding with her husband, 1 who was picked up unconscious near a - bridge over a small stream. Mrs. 'Vtson's body was found in the water. The prosecution charged that Mrs. - Watson had died from the effects of poi-son, poi-son, and that the conditions under which her body was found had been arranged ji. by Dr. Watson to bear out a runaway theory. Much expert testimony was ln- t reduced at the trial, and Dr. Watson took I the stand in his own defense. Medical men testified for the prosecution that un-J un-J mistakable traces of poison were found in Mrs. Watson's stomach, but other medical experts testified for the defense that there were no traces of poison. |
