Ftnal arrangements arrange-ments for the international automobile race for the Vanderbllt trophy on October Oc-tober 14 were completed last night, when the representatives of the American, Amer-ican, French and Italian drivers met at the Automobile club of America and drew, for the starting- positions in the contest. The men are to be sent away at Intervals of one minute each. Janet-ry Janet-ry of Germany will start first. There are only two changes announced. an-nounced. One of the German, cars was withdrawn by the Germans, and the nlnety-horse-power machine of 8. B. Stevens, with A. L. Campbell as driver, was substituted, and as a result of an accident yesterday to Chevrolet's machine, ma-chine, the 'nlnety-horse-power car of AfaJ. Miller will be used by Chevrolet.
