Following Follow-ing strenuous efforts to gain control of the new long distance telephone company, two Interests last night claimed to have control of the stock of the company. Local Lo-cal brokers, representing the Interests of Breckenridge Jones of St. Louis, declared they had at least 14.000 shares more of stock than those representing Toledo and other St. Louis capitalists. The latter declared they had sufficient stock to control both the new long distance dis-tance telephone company and the Indianapolis Indian-apolis Telephone company.
