Show NAMES OF MEN HURT BY SHORT LINE TRAIN The names of the men struck by a Short Line train at 12:30 today are: J. Robblns, 868 East Second South street, and M. A. Peterson of Salem. Utah. Engineer Preece had charge of the engine en-gine at the time of the accident.- He did not see the men until tbey stepped In front of the engine: The train was brought to a stop Immediately and with the assistance assist-ance of Conductor A. L. Anderson. Engineer Engi-neer Preece picked up the men and had them sent to St. Mark's hospital. At the hospital at S o'clock today It was said that both men will recover. Both sustained scalp wounds and a number of bruises. Peterson sustained a fractured leg. c . . |
