Show IRRIGATORS NOW IN FEDERATION Organization Completed at a Meeting Held in Omaha. OMAHA, Jan. 11. The American Irrigators' Ir-rigators' Federation is the name chosen cho-sen for an organization formed by representatives rep-resentatives of the irrigation States who met in Omaha yesterday. Among the objects of the federation set forth in an official statement are to harmonize conflicting Interests, promote pro-mote essential legislation, circulate instructive in-structive literature, aid in settlement of reclaimed areas, criticize officials or others for acts of Injustice and to aid in the adjustment of freight rates to and from the reclaimed areas. The following officers were elected to serve until the first annual meeting, which will be held at Boise, Ida., the date to be named by the executive committee, com-mittee, to correspond with dates selected se-lected for the. National Irrigation congress: con-gress: President, ex-Gor. L. Bradford Prince, New Mexico; secretary, D. H. Anderson, Chicago. An executive committee , was also , named, among whose members are: Zera Snow, Portland, Or.; C. M. Helntze. Los Angeles; ex-Gov. Frank Hunt. Boise; Lucius M. Wilcox. -Denver, and several vice-presidents, including in-cluding Tom Richardson, Portland, Or.; Judge Cyrus Happy, Spokane, Wash.; C. E. Bralnard, Payette. Ida.; M. H. Heber, Los Angeles; Fred J. Kie-sel, Kie-sel, Ogden, Utah; Clarence L. Johnston, John-ston, Cheyenne; Lucius M. Wilcox, Denver; J. Turley, Farmlngton, N. M.; C. D. Rephey, Florence. Ariz.; Prof. F. D. Coburn, Topeka, Kan., and A. J. Cobban, Rhlnelander, Wyo. |
