Show NEW LEAGUE FORMED i BY. THE BOWLERS i Representatives of employee pf a number num-ber of business houses of the city met Sunday and organised a bowling league, - to be known as the Commercial Bowling league and comprising eight five-men teams. These teams will play four games week for fourteen weeks, and a cora- , mlttee has been selected to arrange for suitable prise for flrt place, high Individual Indi-vidual average, high team average and high Individual core. The team composing the league are the , Crabbes. the Z. C. M. Is., the Franklins, the Keith-O'Briens, the Oregon Short Lines, the Walker and the Bell Tele- phones. The eighth team has not as yet been accepted, although there are several applicants for the place. J. H. R. Franklin Frank-lin was elected president A, H. Crabbe t vice-president, and N. E. Coulam secretary secre-tary and treasurer. The director are A. C Keeley. W. W. Pratt, Max Brodie. C. W Olsen. J. S. Old. W. G. Walker, R. J Tuttle and a representative of the eighth club still to he selected. The first game of the schedule will be played at the Collender alleys Monday night |
