Show JUVENILE DETENTION HOME IS NECESSARY. Judge Willis Brown of the Juvenile 'court believes that he has discovered a clause in the statutes which will give a tmporary solution to the juvenile detention deten-tion home problem. He declares that under un-der the law he has the power to place children in a suitable home under the Jurisdiction of the court, and that the city Is liable for all necessary expense of the court. As the home is a necessity It is believed that it comes under the law.- As yet the Board of Education has not appointed a probation officer to look after its truants. Heretofore a policeman has had the matter In charge, but It is necessary neces-sary that the board-appoint Its own officer. |
