Weather In the Northwestern States was generally favorable to the maturing of the new crop. This . fact also tended to weaken the markef. , At the opening the September Septem-ber option was a shade to tower at 84fc4. On a' good demand from commission-houses the price quickly advanced ad-vanced to 8465 but soon reacted again to 84. . Small receipts and practically no acceptances ac-ceptances from the country caused aflrm tone in the corn market. -The September Option opened ! to - higher at 62 fc2, and for a . time held within the opening range. Fairly liberal receipts caused some uneasiness un-easiness In the oats- market. September opened higher at 27 and sold off to 87. . Provision .were firm as a result of decreased de-creased stocks of lard and ribs In store in charge. An advance of S to 10 cents in the price of live hogs helped to support the market. .
