Show SHEEPMEN TO PUSH WYOMING INQUIRY Joseph Hatch of Heber. a member of the firm of Hyde & Hatch, whose sheep camp near Burnt Fork. Wyo., was attacked at-tacked by masked men Wednesday night, was in Salt Lake yesterday. After telephoning to Lyman, Wyo., near where the attack occurred, he learned that A. H. Garside. who was In charge of the herd, was killed and another an-other herder, Allen, was shot In the foot. The attack was made by four masked men, supposed to have been cowboys. The camp was pitched about forty miles from Lyman. After the shooting Allen managed to crawl two miles to a ranch-house and secure assistance. Mr. Hyde, the other member of the firm. Is in Wyoming looking Into the matter. The sheep owners will push the investigation of the outrage to the limit. |
