Show WHEBE ARGUMENTS FLOW. Campaign arguments were presented at a First ward meeting held at the home of W. H. Wilkinson last evening. The first American party speaker to be Introduced Intro-duced by the chairman. Mrs. 8mlth. was P. J. -Daly. He was followed by H. J. Dlnlnny. A. N. Cherry. J. M. Coombs. L. D. Marfin, C. J. Crabtree and Mr. Randolph. Ran-dolph. ... A big rallv will be held this evening by the Democrats at Liberty stake hall. Among the speakers on the programme are Simon Bamberger, Citv Attorney C. C. Dey. Granville Olllett, F. S. Richards. L. R. Mnrtlneau, M. F. Cunningham and Will O. Farrell. The musical programme has the following persons on it: T. S. Ash worth, A. E. Braby, R. S. Slddowsy. H. S. Harper. Miss Grace Holt and Miss Minnie Russell. ... Music, speaking, dancing and refreshments refresh-ments will htf the nforrsmm nf th American party rally to be held by the Fifth municipal ward tomorrow evening at -the Ladies' Literary club. ... At the home of Mrs. J. M. Cohen. 407 South Second East street, an American party social and reception will be held this afternoon between $:3f and ( o'clock. The candidates from the First ward will be present and also a number of other prominent speakers. ... A rally under the auspices of the Democratic Dem-ocratic Women's club will be held tomorrow tomor-row evening at the home of Mrs. W. B. Slick. 1022 East First South street. Judge O. W. Powers and other prominent Democrats Dem-ocrats will address the meeting. ... A big rally has been planned or this evening by the American party to take place at Thompson's hall. Warren Smith, secretary of the Woman's auxiliary to the American party, will give a reception this afternoon to the workers of the First ward. The reception will be held st 3 o'clock at the Ninth ward annex, an-nex, Fifth East and Fourth South streets. ... The closing rally of the campaign in the Third ward will be held this evening under the direction of the Woman's Democratic Dem-ocratic club at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Lewis. North Temple and Sixth West streets. The candidates on the city ticket will be among the speakers. Three Democratic rallies were held last evening. One was at the home of Mr. and Mrs. 8. A. Kenner. 836 Eighth East street: another at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Weller. 3 East 8eventh South street, and the third at the Twenty-third ward meeting-house In the Third precinct. |
