Show Phyllis Joan Nelson Weds August 9 At Community Methodist Church In a double ring wedding cere mony solemnized Saturday evening ev-ening at Community Mcthodial church by Rev. Ada Duhigg of the Highland Buy Community House. Mis Phyllis Joan Nelson, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L Nelson, became the bride of William C. Blniber Of Venice, Calif. Mr Birr.bcr is a son of Mrs. Nellie (timber of Venice. The bride was lovely It) white satin and finger tip veil. She carried car-ried a bouquet of Talisman roses. Miss Dorothy Stringham of Midvale, wearing pink and carrying car-rying a bouquet 01 Johanna Hill roses, was maid of honor, and Miss Margaret Stringham, also of Midvale, gowned in blue, was bridesmaid, cousins of the bride were attendants. Baibari Kay Nelson, sister of the bride, frock -ed in blue, was flower "irl. They carried old-fashioned nosegays. Jack Becthel of Venice, Calif., Wt best man. Ushers were Jacl. Nelson and Darwin Peterson The bride will graduate in Do cemtoer from the Salt Lake 0n eral Hospital School of Nursing. Following the ceremony a reception re-ception honored the newlyweds at No. 2 Fire hall after which thev left for a honeymoon trip to California. Out-of-town guests here for the wedding were Mrs. Nellie Bim-ber. Bim-ber. mother of the bridegroom and Mrs. Tom Mellon, both of Venice and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Helms Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif. |
