Marshal States No One Was Hit in Melee Following Follow-ing An Alleged Attack A report waa received today by United Statea Marshal J. Ray Ward that striking ahopmen at Mtlford had attacked a gusrd at the entrance of the Loa Angeles A Bait Lake railroad yards and pelted htm with atones. The report atated that the guards opened fire on the atrlkera, hut that. ; none of the shots took affect. Sheriff Sher-iff .Oamlion and d-putlea burrled to the acene, but the atrlkera had disappeared on their arrival. No arreata were made for lack of evidence.
