Show Mrs. H E. Taylor and sons of lower Bingham visited at the home of Mr- and Mrs. Bert Whet-sel Whet-sel last Friday. Mrs William Amos, Mrs. Spenee Amos, Mrs. Meredith Amos, all of Payson, and Mrs. Hannah Thurmond of Eureka spent Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Thurmond. Mrs J. U. Mrs. Arthur Caldwell honored honor-ed her daughter Donna on her sixteenth birthday with , party j last Saturday evening. There I were 16 girls and boys present. The guests played cards, after which the birthday cake was cut and lunch served. Then all lb' went to the late show at the Princess theatre. Donna received receiv-ed many nice gifts. Mrs. Elma Thomas is visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Mary Stoker of Union, this week Mr. and Mrs- Orrin Colby returned re-turned home from their vacation last Sunday. They visited relatives rela-tives in southern Utah. Lt. E. D. Carlson, who is stationed sta-tioned at Camp Hood, Tex., and Mrs. E. D. Carlson were dinner guests Saturday at the John Anderson An-derson home. They expect to return re-turn this coming Sunday to spend a few more days with Mr-and Mr-and Mrs. Anderson. Ten Boy Scouts of Copperfield are spending this week at Camp I Steiner: Garland Bray, Billy Nevers, Leland Halverson, David Gonzales, Tom Korologos, Rex Leatherwood, George Kubota. Abel Oseguera, Max Ivie and Pablo Valdez. Mis. John Mannos and her new daughter returned home from Bingham hospital Wednesday. Wednes-day. Alt Ivie and son Keith enjoyed enjoy-ed a few days' visit at Green River, Utah, last week. Mrs. Lenard Johnson visited at the Robert Crellin home Saturday Sat-urday evening. Dinner guests Sunday at the John Pantalone home were Pete Rakich, who returned recently from overseas, and brother Joe Rakich of Highland Boy. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Backman of Salt Lake City were week end guests at the Bert Whetsel home- Genevieve Whetsel returned home Monday from Malad, Ida., bringing her brother's children. Mrs. Charley Whetsel has gone to visit her husband. Sgt. Whetsel, Whet-sel, at Camp Roberts, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bapis and sons spent Sunday at Layton visiting relatives, returned to Salt Lake City, and enjoyed a show there before returning home. |
