H Dern to fill the vacancy caused by the election of Judge Elias Hansen to the state supreme su- su preme court In making the appointment Governor Gov Gov- Dern said that he had tendered tendered ten ten- dered the position to JUdge Andrew B B. Morgan of Provo who was the nominee of his party in 1924 for forthe forthe the position but the judge declined the tender for business reasons and recommended JUdge Tucker for tor the place Judge Tucker is 38 years old and has been In the practice In Provo He was indorsed by United States Senator William H.
