Show DR. R. G. FRAZIER HAS INTERESTING TRIP Dr. R. G. Frazier returned Saturday Sat-urday from a two-week's trip in southern Utah. He was accompanied accom-panied by John Reilly of Los Angeles- Also in the party were j Byron Davis, guide, and Tom Smith, cook. In the course of the two weeks ! a 250-mile horseback trip took j the party through "Utah's terra j del Fuego", which includes Smoky Smo-ky mountain and Rock Candy I mountain, and also visited unopened un-opened cliff dwellings and made a collection of ceramics (pottery) for S. W. Museum at Los Angeles. An-geles. Some of the ceramics dat- ed about 500 A. D. They also visited vis-ited the "Crossing ofkhe Fathers" at Padre Creek. (Escalante, who crossed the Colorado river in 1775 was the first white man to visit Utah.) O . , |
