L Apartments 11 Occupants Escape Injuries After Woman Gives Alarm By Dave Dac Bowers A year old girl and her parents could credit their lives to the quick thinking of a year old expectant mother during an early morning fire which gutted the front part of an apartment dwelling at E E. 1st South Saturday AIt Altogether gether 11 persons escaped uninjured from the t two two- story house at E. Wyatt as flames and smoke roared up the buildings building's front stairs The four huddled on a story second-story porch as flames licked around supporting support support- ing pillars until they were removed by firemen Three other people escaped down ladders from story second-story windows windows windows win win- dows at the back of the building They were Mr and Mrs P.
