S that more than I has been raised to erect a crippled childrens children's hospital in in n this city and that construction is scheduled to start next spring The money has bc been n raised by the Shrine in a campaign which has been carried d on for for some time Co Contributions t ions have have come sin in the form of individual gifts bequests nd trusts with many small ismalI unsolicited donations 1 I Estimated cost of the institution according to Lincoln G. G Kelly chairman of the hospital board hoard will be between Jand and Operating costs of the hospital which will run runabout runabout about a year a-year ear will be paid from national Shrine hospital funds which are raised by a year a levy on each member The work of the Shrine in caring for crippled children is well known known The order has bas performed an outstanding service in this respect for which it deserves and has many times received public acclaim It will be a great privilege and benefit for Salt alt Lake City and Utah to have a completely equipped crippled childrens children's childrens children's chil- chil drens dren's hospital here There are at present only 15 such institutions institutions in the country and this city and state owe a sincere vote of lof appreciation to the local members of the Shrine who have worked this meritorious so diligently on project
