W J. J Spring Canyon and Attendants Mary Cristelli daughter of Mr and Mrs Domonic Cristelli Latuda Latuda Latuda La- La tuda and Nadine Dayley daughter daughten daugh daugh- ter ten of Mr and Mrs John W. W Dayley Dayley Day- Day ley Icy Helper First place for the best float went to the Eaglette club of the college second-place second winner was the entry by the Carbon Pep club and the junior class won third place Fourteen floats were entered entered entered en en- in the parade and the entire student body marched led by the senior and junior high school bands and the school color guards Proving their prowess over the upperclassmen the freshman class won the annual mud fight and by so doing received the right to paint the large rock which stands in front of the college with their class colors The annual alumni assembly held at 11 a a. a m. m featured Mrs J. J Bracken Lee Price and Glen Winn selective service draftee who had come from Portland Ore for the homecoming as speakers Musical numbers numbers' were given by Murray Mathis and a trio composed composed com corn posed of Mrs Marcel Jeanselme Mrs Ross Richens and Mrs Omar Oman Bunnel |
