Show AUDITOR'S REPORT SHOWS FINANCES. OF CITYBETTERED Bills in the amount of $952.50 were approved for payment by the city council Wednesday evening. eve-ning. Auditor W. G. Smith of Beesley Wood and company attended at-tended the meeting and cautioned caution-ed the council against increasing budgets unless the action was properly advertised previously. City receipts in 1941 were above the amount anticipated, totaling $50,131.51. Expenditures for the year amounted to $47,038.66. Financial condition of the city is gradually improving, the auditor audi-tor noted. Last year $7000 in bonds and a $1000 note were paid off. John T. Bird, city dog tax collector, col-lector, will begin work in Bingham Bing-ham in the near future. The city has agreed to pay $1.00 for each dog the collector disposes of because be-cause of non payment of tax. The council agreed that the Heaston Heights road project is not feasible at the present time. $25. 00 was allowed for expenses expen-ses of the city observance of Flag day, June 14. - |
