M Smith Draper Fetes Old Folk Fok During Homecoming DRAPER Drapers DRAPER Drapers Draper's annual homecoming and old folks' folks celebration opened h here xe Friday morning with a special program program program pro pro- gram in in the Draper First L D S ward chapel under the chair chair- manship of Ralph Day Among the honored guests were Drapers Draper's three oldest residents residents- Joseph M. M Smith 85 Willard B B. B Ennis 84 and Heber A A. Smith 83 All three were born in Draper Draper Draper Dra Dra- per and live within a block of each other but are not related although two have the same family family family fam fam- ily name Joseph M. M Smith who in previous previous previous pre pre- years has been honored as the oldest native this year for forthe forthe forthe the first time also was honored as the oldest living resident The honor previously went to Frank Johnson 97 who died last sum sum sum- mer Joseph M. M Smith quarried granite granite granite gran gran- ite to help build the Salt Lake LakeL L D S temple Heber A. A Smith is president of the Sandy City bank and former Bishop Willard B B. B Ennis has distinguished hh himself self as an educator All three are in good health and have worked on on farms here most of their lives Hot luncheon was served at noon in the First ward recreation hall A program in the after after- noon featuring Royal G.
