Longfellow entertained Sunday at dinner for Mr. and Mrs. J. L. McKellar and daughter, Miss Jayne, and Miss Helen Stillman. Miss McKellar left that evening to meet Sergeant Ser-geant Wesley Longfellow at Fort Lewis where they were married. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kesler and daughter, Linda, returned Sunday from a three-day visit in Ely, Nev., with Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Thompson and son, Jerry. Miss Hazel Brockbank, prominent promi-nent Utah educator and former president of the Utah Educational Education-al association, who has been a patient at Bingham hospital for many months, was released Wednesday Wed-nesday and went to Provo to spend the holiday with relatives. Frisch left November Novem-ber 12 for Oakland, Calif., to join her husband, who is serving serv-ing with the U. S. Coast guard at Government island. Honoring Mrs. J. O. Martin of Seattle, Wash., a handkerchief shower was given Wednesday evening at "the home of Mrs. Mo-hleta Mo-hleta Densley with Mrs. Ernest Prigmore cohostess. The twelve guests spent the evening sewing. Mrs. Martin has spent several months here with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Garn Carpentier. Mr. and Mrs. Joe E. Frisch had as their guesta last Saturday his sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Sickert of Provo and Mrs. P. Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. John Cumberland and Keith Sickert, all of Alameda. Calif, Miss Donnetta Ellis left Tuesday Tues-day afternoon to spend Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Ellis of North Hollywood, Calif. She traveled with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene Jenkins, who will visit Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Jenkins, their son and daughter-in-law, in Hollywood, Hol-lywood, and Mr.: and Mrs. Lon Rawlings, who will be guests of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Stokes and Mrs. Edna Rochstrasser, in Los Angeles. The party is expected home Monday. : Mrs. Omen Ray Argyle and sister-in-law, Miss Faye Argyle, have visited Pvt. Omen Ray Argyle Ar-gyle at Camp Claiborne, La., the past three weeks. Miss Argyle is expected home any day by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Argyle, but their daughter-in-law has obtained employment near the fort and expects to remain re-main with her husband.
