Sunday evening Paul Rice of Pennsylvania and Walter Baer enjoyed an evening of cards at the Clarence Bullock home. Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Zorn entertained en-tertained at dinner Tuesday evening ev-ening for Private and Mrs. J. Barber. The former is in the me-dical me-dical corps and is stationed in Oregon. He and Mrs. Barber will leave Saturday to return to Oregon Ore-gon by motorcycle. Mr. and Mrs. Alt Ivie and Miss Alice Ivie attended the funeral Friday of Mrs. LeRoy Olson, the former Mrs. Lillian Bellows of Cyprus hall. Mrs. Olsen was Mr. Ivie's sister. Mr. Alt Ivie's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ivie of Greenriver, came for the funeral fun-eral and visited two days at the Ivie home in Telegraph. Mrs. W. H. Kramp (the former Betty Bellows) came from Boulder City, Nev., and visited several days. Pfc Ralph Colledge, who is stationed sta-tioned at Newark, N.J., is visiting visit-ing his wife at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Caldwell Cald-well of Terrace Heights. Private Colledge is on a 10-day furlough and is making acquaintance of his newly-born daughter. Mrs. Orrin Colby's aunt, Mrs. Alvin Jensen, and daughter, Ilene, of Salt Lake City, were Sunday evening visitors at the Orrin Colby home. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Todd and family of West Jordan, Mrs. Frank Todd and daughter, Joan, of Osgood, Mo., and Clara Mae Phipps spent Thursday afternoon, after-noon, Nov. 11, at the home of Mrs. Todd's son, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Todd. Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Colby celebrated cele-brated their wedding anniversary anniver-sary by entertaining Mr. and Mrs. Byron Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. each presented with a duffle bag. Copperfield wishes Shirl and Nelson the best of luck. Niels Peterson and Thorn Hermanson of Richfield were visitors vis-itors last Friday at the Byron Peterson home in Telegraph. Mr. Peterson is Byron Peterson's father and intends on making his home in Telegraph. Apprentice Seaman 2 c Ronald Ron-ald Mattson arrived Saturday to spend a two-week furlough. Ronald Ron-ald has been stationed at Farra-gut, Farra-gut, Ida. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, Mrs. H. W. Kirkendall and Mrs. Ted Scroggin were Salt Lake Tisitors last Friday. P. L. Moore of Orem spent Tuesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Halverson. Mrs. H. C. Leatherwood and son, Billy, of Midvale, spent Sunday Sun-day at the W. L. Leatherwood home. Principal Harold W. Nielsen of Copperfield school says that the pupils worked last week collecting collect-ing a sizeable pile of paper and magazines for the scrap paper drive. The school also made a good showing on sale of bonds and stamps. The report is as follows: fol-lows: first grade $10.20; second grade $20.30; third grade $13.10; fourth grade one bond and stamps $59.40 (this grade was leader this time); fifth and sixth grade $56.90. Total purchases at school were $159.90. Seaman 2,c Buster Bullock telephoned his mother from Bremerton Wash., a few nights ago. He told her he has been assigned as-signed to a ship and expects to sail in the near future. He said everything was fine. Buster sent his mother several gifts. Mrs. Robert Burke and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Tyson spent Tuesday visiting at the William Burke home in Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Max Scroggin and son, Dennis, were all-day visitors vis-itors at the Scroggin home last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. James Cunliffe of lower Bingham moved to Salt Lake Tuesday. Mr. Cunliffe is now employed pn the railroad. The Cunliffes visited at the Frank Swain and Miles Anderson homes. Mr. and Mrs. Felix McDonald and Dan Borich were Salt Lake visitors last Friday. Miss Arilla Bullock arrived home from Burlingame, Calif., November 11. Her mother, Mrs. Clarence Bullock met her in Salt Lake City and they stopped in Midvale on the way home to visit Mrs. Laura McDonald. Mrs. Albert Miller and two daughters of Midvale were overnight over-night guests Sunday at the Paul Miller home. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Thurmond were Salt Lake visitors Sunday. Mrs. Thurmond's daughter, Mrs." R. M. Hettrick, honored her mother with a birthday dinner at the Hettrick home in Salt Lake City. Dad Cowperthwaite has been confined to his home several days with a bad cold but is improving. im-proving. Mrs. Mike Katis and daughter and two sons returned home from Idaho last Thursday evening. George Bullock of Magna was a visitor at the Clarence Bullock home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Zorn were visitors at the home of Mr. Zorn's sister, Mrs. Ivor Luger-bauer Luger-bauer of Union, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lugerbauer are lormer residents re-sidents of Telegraph. Mrs. Edward P. Saker (Donna Sturgill) came home Sunday from Bingham hospital with her tiny daughter. The baby, who is a real beauty with black eyes and lots of long black hair, is to be christened "Karen", her father, fath-er, Lieutenant Saker, announces. Ludwig Zorn celebrated his birthday last Saturday evening. He and his wife attended a show and then visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Preece of Cop-perton. Cop-perton.
