RITES CONDUCTED FOR FORMER UTAHN UT AHN Funeral services for Edward Ryan 69 9 former Salt Lake City resident and well-known well rancher in Utah who died Thursday at his home homen in n Pasadena Cal Cat were conducted Saturday at the Forest Lawn chapel chape chapen In n Los Angeles said word received here ic re Mr Ryan was born in Salt Lake City June 30 1865 and when 4 years of age moved with his parents to Corinne orinne in Box Elder county In later ater years he moved to Ogden anc and about 15 years ears ago went to Califor- Califor nia He was a frequent visitor in Utah I As a young joung man Mr Ryan engaged engaged en en- in freighting from Corinne t to Montana and northern Idaho H He later engaged in livestock business near Little Mountain west o of Corinne He was instrumental i in obtaining a water system at Corinne and a also o in the development o othe of the Corinne drainage district Surviving SUr are three sons and a daughter Milan E.
