| Show Just Folks B By EDGAR A. A GUEST WALKING G WITH CHILDREN I like to walk with children for theres there's wonder in m their eyes And every little incident is lovely with surprise They're always finding beauty in some unexpected spot And nothing seems to bore them as th they y go o at double trot But Bul the grown up men inca and women are so 50 burdened down with c tare care re reThey They walk right by the splendors that are arc shining everywhere I like to go with year olds and watch them thorn race about And hear henr their shouts of gladness as they ferret marvels out They seem scorn to find rind enchantment and excitement all the way As if it this bl big and bus busy world were fashioned just for or play I But the up grown-up men and women know so much at which to tosco scoff You'd think the shine of oC loveliness had all been grated of off I think there ought to b a law compelling every man manTo manTo To walk with children once a day aday or often as he can I do him good to see sec once more the countless charms they find rind rid of hate and prejudice his overburdened mind In spite of all the care hes he's known and wrongs hes he's had to bear The little folks would prove to him that joy is everywhere Copyright 1935 Edgar A.
