D Salt Lake concernIng concerning concern- concern ing inn regulation of public utilities and basis for taxation of mines Chiefly written from findings of the committee of nine the bills provide for stringent regulation of utility companies operating in Utah Under them the utilities would be assessed for sufficient funds to finance the state utilities commission which would be given f full ll powers powers- of regulation Representative Lamoreaux proposed that mine taxes be as assessed assessed assessed as- as on a basis of net proceeds figured over a period of ten years preceding the assessment date They are H.
