Opera Group Gives Annual Holiday Party Members and Husbands Are Guests at Christmas Buffet Supper Members o 0 ol the Opera Appreciation Appreciation I elation club entertained at a prettily prettily prettily pret pret- tily arranged annual Christmas party honoring members and their husbands Thursday evening at the Casa Verde tearoom A buffet supper was served during the evening The table was covered with a lace cloth over red satin and held as centerpiece centerpiece centerpiece cen cen- a silver vase of poin- poin Red princess tapers in silver candelabra were at the ends of the thc table and the rooms were decorated with pines and holly berries Those receiving included Mr and Mrs J Jonas oI as Professor and Mrs Thomas Giles Dr and Mrs L. L O. O Halgren Mr a d Mrs A. A T. T Egan Mrs Leslie Saville and Mrs J. J Tracey Wootten Mrs Wallace was in charge of the music and entertainment Mrs Elizabeth Hayes Simpson accompanied by Mrs Virginia Freber at the thc console sang a anum number number num num- ber of vocal selections Members of the thc club chorus presented a group of songs under the direction direction direction tion of Mrs John S. S Sharp A juvenile Christmas spirit was featured during the evening A large Jack Homer Horner pic pie was placed at one corner of the thc room with white ribbons attached to small gifts for the guests Miss Muriel LaVon Goodspeed acted as Jack Horner Homer Mrs Milo T.
