Show i Miners Battle Wasatch Academy In Utah State Prep Semifinal For "B" Football Crown Minora of Bingham high school, accompanied by Coach Warren G. Allsop, substituting for Coach Bailey J. The winners of the Bingham-Wasatch tussle will play Pay son high school for the state championship in the University Uni-versity of Utah stadium December 3. Bingham and Tooele finished their Jordan district sched-. ules in a tie for B honors. Bingham lost Fullback Mike Le-ventis, Le-ventis, Dean Stringham and Jimmy Brown, because of injuries, injur-ies, early in the game and never did unloose an attack. The powerful Beetdigger eleven, elev-en, coached by Dunn Taylor, received, re-ceived, the opening kickoff and advanced straightway 65 yards for a touchdown. They later made another drive for the same distance dis-tance and scored another pair of touchdowns to le;M 28-0 at. the half. In the second half the Beet-diggers Beet-diggers continued their drive and also intercepted three passes that, led to scores, recovered a kick-off kick-off deep in Bingham territory. Taylor used his subs freely in the latter part of the game.. Out of the game today will be Leventis, Stringham and Brown, whose injuries received a week ago will keep them from any athletic competition a month or longer. Also, James Ballamis, a main stringer, recently left for Farra-gut, Farra-gut, Ida., to begin navy training. The Miners' team, while patched patch-ed up, has had good training this week and will give a fair account of themselves against Wasatch academy, region six winners.
