S temple died of r sh shock ck Saturday morning ft r bc bing ng burned by an art exploding lamp globe in the temple b basement Police said Mr Lawrence put a test globe in a socket to locate elevator ele dc- vator trouble and that the globe blew up burning his hands He walked to the museum on the temple grounds where first aid was given by Anna C. C Gledhill Fayette Fay Fay- ette avenue and John T. T Burnett 2 10 West South Temple street Stricken on Way Mr Lawrence tHen Ihen started back to the temple through a basement runway runway run run- wa way to get his hat and md coat and go to the emergency hospital Police said he fell dead In the runway after walking 25 yards Dr J. J C. C Brown who had been treating Mr Lawrence La for lor heart disease disease disease dis dis- dis- dis ease said shock from the burns had affected his heart and caused death Mr Lawrence was born in Stockholm Stockholm Stock Stock- holm Sweden in 1852 When 19 years old he came to the United States settling settling set set- in Provo He lived there 10 years coming to Salt Lake City 52 years ago He married Emma Louise Carlson Carson in Provo and during his residence there he operated the only lumber mill in that city His wife died in 1923 Active In Church Work He lie was an nn active L.
