Show Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Colby and son, Teddy, were week-end visitors vis-itors in Manti. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Cole had as Sunday dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. Byron Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hickman. The latter lat-ter couple, formerly of Crescent, moved Sunday into a home at Telegraph. Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Stur-gill Stur-gill and son were overnight guests Friday at the James Hill home. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Allred of Ogden and children spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Price of Cop-perton Cop-perton entertained at dinner Sunday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Ted Scroggin, A S Shirl Scrog-gin, Scrog-gin, AS Arnold Hamfield, Miss Audrey Groves and Mr. and Mrs. Max Scroggin and son, Midvale. E. M. 3 C Howard Swain, who has been attending a naval school in Chicago, visited Tuesday in Copperfield at the homes of Frank Swain and Ted Scroggin. Howard is in the airplane division divis-ion and has done well in his training. Mrs. William Jones and children child-ren are visiting her mother, Mrs. D. Arrigonne of West Jordan, for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Len Johnson and son are visiting in Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kastanis and family were visiting relatives rela-tives in Copperfield Sunday afternoon. af-ternoon. Don Loveridge's father spent the week-end in Copperfield at the Loveridge home. John Anderson, a student at the Universitv of Utah, spent the week-end at home. Mr. and Mrs. John W. Anderson accompanied him back to Salt Lake Sunday evening and enjoyed a show. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Leather-wood Leather-wood and son, Billy, were weekend week-end visitors at the W. L. Leather-wood Leather-wood home. Apprentice Seaman Arnold Hamfield of San Diego spent two days visiting Apprentice Seaman Shirl Scroggin while he was home. The two navy men and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Scroggin and Paul Madsen were dinner guests Monday evening at the Lynn Groves home. The Scroggins, Miss Audrey Groves and AS Hamfield were dinner guests Tuesday evening at the Max Scroggin home in Midvale. The whole narty then accompanied the boys to the train when they left that same night for Farra-gut, Farra-gut, Ida. Seaman 2 C William Lopez arrived ar-rived from San Francisco last Saturday to spend a 14-day fur- lough with relatives and friends. Seaman Lopez says they are waiting for his ship to be overhauled, over-hauled, after which he expects to be assigned to sea duty.
