A Clark They were ordered to appear in police court Wednesday morning to answer charges of violating the law regardIng regarding regard- regard Ing ng license plates The police station was besieged by y calls from timid but tardy auto- auto who asked the officers for permission permission per per- per permission mission to drive their automobiles to o the state capItol for Inspection and new plates The police Informed the he drivers that they would have to trust to luck to get away with it The officers have no authority to grant a permit of ot this nature It was pointed out
