M. M Salt Lake I am not familiar with Andy Gumps Gump's method and ami so cannot vouch for it To remove remove mildew from an any colored material is a very difficult matter I take it that the handwork on your apron is Js in color In that case you dare not use the chloride of lime treatment to which I often refer in in this col col- Likely the buttermilk will prove too mild to remove such a stain but you dare not use anything anything any any- thing more severe I fear lest you destroy the color in the design So try the buttermilk it buttermilk It it might surprise surprise surprise sur sur- prise us Soak the apron in it for tor toran foran foran an hour then without squeezing it dry spread it it out to air and dr dry repeat this treatment until the stain i is removed removed removed-or or until it is Js apparent apparent ap ap- ap- ap parent t that at it is not being affected You are most welcome V.
