Show Highland Boy Marie Aizelio Mrs. Carl N. Granning entertained enter-tained at a one o'clock luncheon Tuesday afternoon for eight. Prizes Priz-es went to Mrs. Arthur Barney and Mrs. Harold R. Barton. Roses decorated the living room. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kanniainen and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rauer of Bingham spent opening day fishing in Provo Canyon. Martin Zurkovich of Salt Lake City was a guest at the home of Miss Ann Muhar Friday. John Bolic and Hugo Bianchi spent the week-end fishing in Provo canyon. Mr. and Mrs. George Smilan-ich Smilan-ich were business visitors in Salt Lake City Tuesday. Eugene Tazzer and George Savich left Thwsday to spend a 10-day vacation in Los Angeles and vicinity. Louis Valdez, stationed at Fort Douglas, is home on a 10-day furlough. Pvt. Axel Strand, recently inducted in-ducted at Fort Douglas, has been transferred to. Camp Crowder, Missouri. John Muhar and Martin Zurkovich Zurko-vich visited relatives and friends in Salt Lake City Saturday. Highland Boy Scouts completed complet-ed their scrap iron campaign and Saturday received their uniforms to march in the Flag Day parade. par-ade. Congratulations, boys. Gildo Fontana of Park City was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Azzelio Sunday. Mrs. Ray Lukich spent Friday visiting her husband, in St. Mark's hospital recuperating from ' a recent operation. He is reported improving nicely. Pvt. John Stenuga has been sent from Fort Douglas to Fort Knox, Ky. Eli Tomas and George Savich were business visitors in Salt Lake City Saturday. Edward and Ronald Muhar of Copperton spent the week-end here as guests of Ann Muhar. Edo Rottini of Taylorsville is spending the week-end with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Azzelio. Miss Ada Duhigg, Miss Alice Virginia Brown, Miss Marie Button But-ton and Steve Smilanich left Monday to spend a week in the Methodist Summer camp in Ely, Nev. |
