Scouts to Gather Old I Clothes on June 17 Old clothing for distribution to the needy of Salt Lake City and county next fall falland land winter will be gathered on June 17 by Boy Scout troops under direction of the joint city and county relief committee it was announced Thursday by a member of ot the com corn The drive for clothing will precede opening of the women's wor work centers In the city and count county which will be established with the funds realized on the special relief fast day May 1 15 estimated at about At the work centers the clothing will be re remodeled remodeled remodeled re- re modeled repaired and renovated for tor distribution to the needy through the regular relief agencies Women employed at the centers will wil receive a wage of a day dab and the work will vill be rotated to provide employment em era- for as many women as possible possible possible pos pos- sible and contribute to the support of many families A headquarters center center center cen cen- ter and warehouse will wilt be established in Salt Lake with branch centers at nt Murray Midvale Magna BIngham and other towns On June 17 th the clothing gathered by the Scouts will be taken to the homes of the troop scoutmasters from which it will be De gathered by y city or county trucks brought to the Salt Lake warehouse e for fumigation and redistributed to the work centers as needed I
