Neilson At the weekly session of court here the following cases were handled E. E M M. Hard Hardy proprietor of the Savoy Savoy Savoy Sa Sa- Sa- Sa voy hotel at Manti ManU pleaded guilty t to contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and was fined 25 by Judge Neilson He was arrested the same day b by Manti ManU City Probation ommer om- om mer B. L Larson charged with selling selling selling sell sell- ing tobacco to a juvenile Lamar Madsen a year old youth was fined 10 for encouraging la a juvenile to buy tobacco The juve- juve juveniles I niles in the case were reprimanded by Judge Neilson and given a suspended sus- sus sentence A Manti ManU boy 14 years ears of age who had repeatedly appeared before the juvenile court on delinquency charges charges' and md who nho allegedly stole a horse belonging be- be be 1 longing to a Mr Mir Judd recently was committed to the state industrial school at Ogden Two boys bos from Mt Pleasant who had run away from their homes and I school were caught at Nephi and brought back by Sheriff Sherif Ed J J. J Peterson Peterson Peterson Peter Peter- son but ran away again the same day they were returned N Next day the juvenile ju court of Salt Sail La Lake e notified Judge Arthur 0 O. O Neilson that it t was holding these same runaways Since they were already wards of the juvenile juvenile juve juve- nile court and would not attend school here at home they were committed to the industrial school A number of parents of this district have been fined by the ju en juvenile Ie court for permitting their children under 16 years of or age to drive automobiles I The juvenile courts of ot the state are arc back of the officers in the enforcement enforce enforce- ment meat of the traffic laws and reckless j juvenile drivers as well as adults I will be handled and fined Parents Parents Parents' who w o permit their children who are under legal age to drive automobiles will be held responsible under the law 1
