J Rothwell 92 02 of Murray Murray Mur Mur- ra ray pioneer physician of the west and emeritus professor of medicine at the University of Colorado died at his home Poplar street Sunday Sun Sun- day Friends may call at the home of or his son Dr W. W H. H Rothwell 60 East Third avenue Murray until 6 p. p m. m Monday after which the thc body willbe will willbe willbe be taken to Denver Funeral services will be conducted there Wednesday by Union lodge No 7 F. F and A. A M. M of which Mr Rothwell was a life member He was also a Royal Arch Mason He was born in Ottawa Out ant April 9 1339 After a medical education at Ann Arbor Mich and the Jefferson Medical institute Philadelphia he went vent to Idaho where he practiced in Idaho City Placerville and surrounding surround surround- ing fag communities until moving to Denver Denver Denver Den Den- ver in 1887 He married Miss Clara Galbraith in Idaho City October 8 1874 He practiced in Denver 33 years during which he was on the thc staff of the Arapahoe county hospital was neurologist of the thc Jewish hospital and St St. Anthonys Anthony's and was of or medicine at t Denver university a and ci the University of Colorado He re resigned resigned resigned re- re signed these positions when he became became became be be- came 80 years old He had resided in Murray since 1919 Two brothers three sons and two nephews of Mr 1 Rothwell have be belonged belonged belonged be- be longed to the medical profession Surviving are arc his widow three sons Dr W.
