Show FIREMEN END SPECIAL WORK Announcement is made by John J. Creedon that classes in care and use of fire fighting equipment have been concluded in Bingham Canyon. During the past winter 20 classes, requiring two hour periods, have been held in the Bingham Canyon fire halls. Actual demonstrations, diagrams dia-grams and pictures were used in making the course a success. An average of 26 firemen attended each of the 20 classes. In addition several auxiliary firemen attended attend-ed two of the classes. Mr. Creedon states that local firemen now have a complete knowledge of local fire fighting equipment, assuring Bingham Canyon a better bet-ter volunteer fire department. The courses were made possible possi-ble through the state board of vocational education under supervision sup-ervision of C. R. Nelson, director of vocational education of Jordan Jor-dan high school, and the Utah State Firemen's association. |
