Nerdin, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Ben McAllister. LOCALNOTES Parker E. Gray and Clarence Robison spent Sunday pheasant hunting near Magna. The birthday of Mrs. Nick P. Floros of Lead Mine was celebrated cele-brated Saturday at a dinner given giv-en by Mr. and Mrs. Alger Baum. Others invited were Mr. Floros, Mr. and Mrs. Sid Hardy and William Wil-liam Rogers. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Rogers and son, Errol Jack, and Mrs. O- G. Muir left October 29 for Needles, Calif. Mrs. Muir visited her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. William Rogers, several sev-eral days, returning Wednesday. The Elbert Rogers are making their home at Needles. Eight members of Entre Nous club were guests of Mrs. Axel Sybrowsky at her home Tuesday evening. Prizes at bridge went to Mrs. Miles Gaythwaie, Mrs. Martin Mar-tin Prigmore and Mrs. Clyde Olson. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd J. Houston returned Friday from Compton, Calif., where Mrs. Houston received re-ceived medical treatment the past six weeks. She left Thursday Thurs-day for Grand Junction, Colo., to visit several months with relatives rela-tives of her husband. Mrs. Hazel Burke of Salt Lake City spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Detmers. Mrs. L. C. Joseph and children, child-ren, Laura Joan and Jeffrey, and Mrs. Laura Hooton, Sandy, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Sorenson. Mrs. Eileen Edlund of Midvale left October 29 for home following follow-ing several days' stay with her niece, Mrs. Parker E. Gray. Fifteen members of No. 1 Firemen's Fire-men's auxiliary were guests of Mrs. John F. O'Brien Monday evening. The time was spent at bridge with Mrs. Lon Rawlings, Mrs. Arthur Cook and Mrs. Robert Ro-bert Davis winning prizes. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Mrs. Reed Johnson and children child-ren and Mrs. Ned Monroe and small son, all of Midvale, spent Tuesday as guests of Mrs. Leon Mitchell. Mrs. Charles Clinton of Lark spent the forepart of the week with Mr. and Mrs. John Reed of U. S. Mine. Halloween was a gala night foi Richard Carter, son of Mr and Mrs. W. C.
