Show Slake Conference. The quarterly conference of the SL Joseph Stale was held at Pima, June 16th. President Lai ton and his counselors, members of the High Council and several other brethren w ere present The speakers In the morning were Presldint I-ayton, BIhop Claridge, of Thatcher, Ill-hop Matthews, of Matthews Ward, Brother W. J. lacker, of Layton, and I!lhop Taylor, of Pima. Tliey dwelt mostly on the necreslty of the Saints reK.nting of their evil w-ajs and performing all the duties required at their haud. They advled the young to prepare themselves for future uefulness. In the afternoon, after the administration admin-istration of the sacrament, the general and local authorities were presented by the clerk and unanimously unani-mously sustained, after which Counselors Coun-selors W. D. Johnou and M. H. Merrill occupied a short time encouraging en-couraging the Saints to faithfulness in the performance of their duties.
