A Cohn pioneer Salt SaIt Lake merchant and one of the founders of the L. L and A. A Cohn company compan on ground purchased from John Mackay From Mr Cohn the house passed into poSsession possession posses poSses- sion sian of former Mayor John Clark Clarkin in 1888 who resided there until 1904 when the property was sold to General Young General Young and his family re resided resided resided re- re sided here until the generals general's death in 1919 and until 1922 Mrs Young maintained her residence in the old home since which time ii it has hns been intermittently occupied According to Richard W. W Young Jr in charge of the property there are no definite plans for the use of the site after the corner is cleared |
